Nothin' but powda

Fresh tracks off of Buckeye

Woke up to a perfect powder bluebird day on Sunday after the storm. I had never skied anything like these conditions, it was awesome sinking waist-deep into soft Utah-famous powder. I probably looked a fool the whole day but I was having way too much fun to care.

Let it snow

We had our first big storm last Saturday. I had planned to shoot Kyle, a fellow DV instructor, that day. The weather didn't damper our plans and I got these shots. It was definitely nerve wracking taking out my camera in the extreme snow conditions, but it performed!

Bluebirds for days

Aspens at the top of King Road

Since I've been in Park City the sky has pretty much looked that blue. All day, everyday. It's hard to complain when it's so beautiful, but where's the snow?! We're all getting a little restless about it. I know it will come, it has to, but I'd like to hit some bowls on my days off, not just the groomers.

In other news, I've started to get back into music (a little). It's a great feeling to be feeling so great and having a nice soundtrack playing in the background. What I'm into right now: I Won't Give Up by Jason Mraz, Charlie Brown by Coldplay, Carolina by Eric Church, and Shake it Out by Florence + the Machine.

Again, let me mention just how in love with life I am. I wish the same for everyone in this new year. Bring it 2012!
